Sporting Achievements

2015-2016

Olympic School Games

July 2016

KS2

As the Olympics are taking place this year in Rio, we decided to give our School Games Sports Day an Olympic theme. We all participated in a range of sporting events and the children who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd were presented with medals by Mrs Jary in our medal ceremony. We had a brilliant afternoon cheering each other on!

Well done to Aidan who were the winning house group this year!

Year 4 Tennis Final

June 2016

The Year 4 tennis team won a place at the City of Sunderland Tennis finals which took place on Wednesday 15th June. They were excellent representatives of our school and had a great day putting their tennis skills to use.

Year 3 Skipping Festival

February 2016

Mrs. Lawton was so proud of the children in Year 3 who took part in a Skipping Festival at St. Robert's. They all learned how to skip and then created a 'Skip Dance,' which they performed as a whole class.

Well done Year 3- you were fantastic!

Well done to everyone in Year 4 for taking part in the Handball Competition at St. Robert's. You all worked well as part of a team and put your new handball skills into practise!
