Year 6 had an amazing afternoon at our Forest School. They worked hard together to create a war-time sunset image using natural materials; created poppies using sticks and wool and they even had time to roast some marshmallows for s’mores!

Year 6 had an amazing afternoon at our Forest School. They worked hard together to create a war-time sunset image using natural materials; created poppies using sticks and wool and they even had time to roast some marshmallows for s’mores!
Year 5 Forest School Yes it was wet but it certainly didn’t spoil our fun today at Forest School. We all helped make Tudor pottage and bread which we plan to taste tomorrow. We showed great teamwork skills as we created our shelters and sourced natural resources to create seats.[…]
Today, despite the rain, Year 4 had a fantastic Forest School session outdoors. They made camps before the rain came, chopped fruit for the porridge, made and ate the porridge. This cooking activity linked to their Romans topic. Roman toys, including swords and dolls, were also made. A brilliant afternoon!
In Forest school today, Year 3 made popcorn with caramel and animals out of apples and twigs. They also planted wild flowers and drew the nature around them. They all had a fantastic afternoon.
Year 2 have had a brilliant time in Forest School, building shelters, making tools and using a campfire to cook up tasty stewed apples, freshly picked from our own school apple tree! More pictures are available on your child’s Seesaw journal.

Year One had a fabulous afternoon in Forest School helping the Rainbow Monster. They made wonderful presents and food for the Rainbow Monster’s birthday. They finished the party by toasting marshmallows on the fire.
