Year 5 have written their own anti-bullying stories for younger children, with a clear message that we are all unique and will not tolerate bullying. Super work Year 5!
In Year 2, we’ve listened to the story of Mr Big, by Ed Vere. The children understand that you should never ignore someone because of how they look. They’ve been hard at work designing posters and “How to be a good friend” bunting.
Today Year 3 worked very hard to write a persuasive letter to the Jellyfish to stop them bullying Monty. Mrs Hampson knows that Year 3 know how to help someone if they are being bullied.
In English today, Year 6 read two children’s stories about anti-bullying: Monty the Manatee and Willy the Wimp. They looked at the similarities and differences of the stories and discussed how effective they were at helping to stop bullying.
