Sending huge thanks to our school community! Despite the current climate our children and families have shown one of our school virtues in abundance – Generosity! Our donations to the local food bank await collection this afternoon.
As part of their Faith in Action, each Tuesday and Thursday in October Year 6 will be leading the Rosary. They recorded themselves leading the prayer for the rest of the school to watch and respond to.
Today, despite the rain, Year 4 had a fantastic Forest School session outdoors. They made camps before the rain came, chopped fruit for the porridge, made and ate the porridge. This cooking activity linked to their Romans topic. Roman toys, including swords and dolls, were also made. A brilliant afternoon!
Year 6 Faith in Action Autumn Term Project Now, more than ever, our local food banks are asking for our support. From tomorrow, we are asking for donations for the food bank to be brought onto the yard and placed in the collection boxes. These boxes will be outside at[…]
We celebrated when one class had 100% attendance…we were amazed and celebrated when two classes had 100% attendance but…. we are absolutely thrilled to announce that this week THREE classes have 100% attendance – Well done to Year 2, Year 3 and Year 6!
Alice stopped by our school hall to share a special “Alice in Wonderland” themed school lunch! A delicious feast was had by all!

Year 4 have been looking at the effects of different liquids on teeth. They used eggs to represent the enamel on our teeth and were excited by the changes to the eggs, especially the egg in orange juice. The toothbrush might be used more tonight!
